The Unbillable is a satirical publication about the legal profession: its firms, its partners, its pilots, its committees and the hours nobody can quite account for.

Everything we publish is fiction. The firms, people, platforms, rankings, quotations and events are invented. They are not reports about real organisations, and any resemblance to your own firm is a matter for your own firm.

We publish individual stories on this site and gather a selection into a weekly issue, The Brief. We do not take briefs from the subjects of our stories, mostly because they do not exist.
